Animist Software is a sole proprietorship based out of Sunnyvale, California that sells Web site community and communications solutions. I, Michael McDonald, was the Vice President, client developer, and customer support guy at Catseye Productions, Inc., a company that sold chat solutions but became inoperative after I left the company in 1998. I am amazed that the major commercial chat programs are still as sloppy and unfriendly to both users and administrators as they were several years ago. I wrote the Waychat™ products from scratch keeping in mind the lessons learned at Catseye Productions.

Chat has many uses such as community, customer support, meetings, interviews, and intranet communication. Waychat Room, Network, and Server fulfill the needs of community Web sites and I will be extending the Waychat™ line in the future to provide specialized solutions for Web Service Providers, intranets, and customer service. I also offer development, integration, and consulting services to businesses who wish to integrate Waychat technology into their systems.
