For $20 per month, Waychat™ Network
is a chat room hosted alongside the chat rooms of other Waychat Network
customers. It is ideal for Web sites with small audiences that wish to
build a community around their Web site and mix with audiences from other
Web sites.
A maximum of 40 users can be logged into your Waychat Network
room at any given time. If you expect more of a crowd you should look at
Waychat™ Server instead, which meets
the needs of hundreds or thousands of users. If you want to keep your
room isolated to your Web site you should consider Waychat
Room, which costs the same as Waychat Network and doesn't share a server
with other rooms.
Because Waychat Network is a hosted solution, no installation is required
and once Animist Software has set up your account your chat room can be
added to your Web site in minutes. (We provide a chunk of HTML for your
webmaster to insert into your Web site.) Hosted software resides on
Animist Software servers and Animist Software is responsible for maintaining
and upgrading the software, so your chat will automatically and seamlessly be
updated with the latest tweaks, fixes, and new features as soon as they
are released.
